Initially driving through the Tequila Trail is seeing small rural towns devoted to farming and harvesting blue agave. Agave landscape was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2006 composed of 34 000 658 hectares between the foot of the Tequila Volcano and the deep canyon of the Santiago river.

Agave fields located 5 kilometers from the city of Tequila, Jalisco, where several distilleries are located in agave valley, guarded by the majestic volcano and the imposing cliff forming the Sierra Madre Occidental to the foot of the Santiago River. It is surrounded by extensive grounds Tequilana Weber blue agave, favored by the rich soil and warm climate of the region agave.
Founded in 1531, this Magic Town is sure to delight, amaze and entertain you. As we walk to the historic district see the Santiago Aposto church, a seventeenth century building boasts a neoclassical facade and main alterpiece as weel as Doric columns with embossed limestones details pointed out by your professional licenced tour guide.
